Himalayan Sky Necklace

The sky over Tibet is a pale but vibrant blue, and the waters of the lakes a deep lapis. No wonder the Tibetan people love the color palette of turquoise, coral, and deep blue lapis.  This beautiful Tibetan necklace is handmade in Kathmandu, Nepal by Tibetan master artist Karma Dolma.

Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors.  It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, healing to the eye, as if carved from an azure heaven and slipped to earth.

Coral is known as the stone of passion and can be used to reconnect with nature and attract love and prosperity. Coral is also connected with bringing inner peace, strength, and understanding of purpose.

Lapis is said to promote self awareness, enlightenment and open the mind to all possibilities.  It is also considered to be a powerful stone when used for mediation.
