Traditional Sherpa Coral and Turquoise Bracelet

  |

40 years ago my friend Pema's father came to the USA with a suitcase full of family treasures.  These exquisite bracelets were solid silver and he sold them to private buyers and museums.  The traditional designs live on and Nepali, Newari, and Tibetan artisans continue the craft of jewelry making in the Kathmandu Valley.

This exquisite bracelet is based on an old design, is silver plated and made with turquoise chips and sherpa coral to keep costs down.  This is a stunningly beautiful handmade design.

This bracelet measures approximately 7 inches around, and 3 inches tall at its largest width.  Due to the handmade nature of this item, style may vary slightly.

Gorgeous bracelet

I love this bracelet. It is lovely and not very heavy. I get compliments on it every time I wear it. I love the details. An exquisite example of handmade Himalayan artistry.
