I use this incense because of its adherence to preserved traditional Tibetan medicinal formulas, the location of where the herbs are gathered, the likelihood of positive intent in their manufacture, their purity, their handmade status, and their lack of wood, which means for someone like me who suffers from asthma, there is no wood smoke which means this incense does not irritate my lungs as other incense can sometimes do.I find this incense both activating (energizing,) while also complimentarily meditative. The net result is a focused calm, or an easily directed meditative state. The scent is faintly aromatic, but not intensely perfumed or sandalwoody as some incenses tend to be. It is a very mild, very gentle scent as befits its nature and typical uses. I will try to buy my incenses on Dharmashop from now on in order to support regional artisans and culture. Peace.
