Creative Energy Antique Singing Bowl

• A one-of-a-kind antique singing bowl acquired from one of our favorite singing bowl collectors and sound therapy practitioners in Kathmandu.
• The bowl was hand picked by DharmaShop founder, Sander Cohen, from a stunning and superior collection of antique bowls.
• This is a medium sized, beautifully aged, hand hammered singing bowl with a rectangular walls and a golden tone.  Truly a one-of-a-kind bowl with gorgeous signs of age including some natural patina and hand etched hash marks.

On his last trip to Nepal in 2019, Sander was able to play hundreds of antique bowls from this collection.  He carefully selected only a few dozen bowls, including this one, for their high quality sound and unique physical characteristics.

Tibetan singing bowls are said to promote relaxation, harmony, and offer many healing properties including chakra balancing.  A great partner in meditation, yoga, and other chakra clearing exercises.

Bowl rings at a D note when struck with a woolen mallet.  This note resonates with the Sacral Chakra.  This energy is the center for creating relationships of all kinds.  It is where we develop an inward sense of self and an outward awareness of others.

Bowl measures approximately 7 inches in diameter and is about 3.75 inches deep.  Comes with a traditional wooden striker.

All sound recordings are made by striking the bowl once with our Handcrafted Red Wool Mallet!
