Antique Buddha Gong Bowl

• This antique gonging bowl was acquired from one of our favorite singing bowl experts and sound healers in Nepal.  He specializes in sound baths as well as collecting antique bowls.

• This beautifully aged antique bowl has a rare and unusual shape often referred to as, "Buddha bowl."  Because it is difficult to sing, this bowl is for gonging only.  It's great for setting the tone prior to meditation or cleansing your environment.

The unique shape of this bowl is very similar to what you can see depicted in the hands of the Buddha.  We were so excited to see and play this style of bowl in person, as they are incredibly rare.  Buddha bowls are highly sought after by collectors and practitioners alike due to their special shape creating a sound quality like no other!

A great addition to any collection, this one-of-a-kind gong bowl features a golden finish with gorgeous signs of age and wear.  Over time, it has acquired some natural patina.  This bowl has passed the test of time and you will feel its vibrant energy and rich history!

Bowl rings at a F# note when struck with a woolen mallet.  This note resonates with the Heart Chakra, which is the center of real, unconditional affection, spiritual growth, compassion, devotion and love.

Measures approximately 6.5 inches in diameter and is about 4 inches deep. Comes with a traditional wooden striker.
