I think it may be some kind of dye that turned my hands yellow… it washed off with soap though

Happy to received mine a day early. I “saged” mine before wearing it. I counted the beads and mine is 109. I gave only 3 stars because - single strand (i will take extra care of it) hope will last - the thread (like pompoms) won’t unravel

Seed beads do not traditionally come with a certificate of authenticity, but I want to assure you that we have worked with our mala team in Kathmandu for over 20 years, and their methods and religious beliefs are to source genuine materials ethically with sustainable methods. Is this 5 mukhi rudraksha?

Hello Nikitha, thanks so much for reaching out to us! As we have so many handmade 108 bead rudraksha malas and wrist malas, we do not source our rudraksha beads based on their number of faces or mukhi but rather by their overall quality and physical characteristics such as shape and size. The mala artisans select beads based on these qualities to ensure that bead size and overall circumference of the mala are more uniform. I have found that many of our standard 8mm rudraksha beads tend to have 5 faces, but can be anywhere from 3-5 and aren’t always uniform from bead to bead. The number of faces can vary because again, the overall quality, size, and shape of the rudraksha is how the beads are selected. I hope this information is helpful!
