Impreso a mano de manera tradicional a partir de bloques de madera en Katmandú, Nepal, por artesanos tibetanos. Las banderas son los colores tradicionales de amarillo, blanco, rojo, azul y verde.
Cada bandera presenta una gran variedad de oraciones que rodean la imagen central deungta, un caballo de viento. Lungta es también la palabra tibetana que significa "bandera de oración".

Have bought these same Prayers Flags over the years. Living on several windy hilltops in upstate NY & now WY. Last about 2 yrs in pretty stiff winds. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Prayer Flags

I had a gathering to celebrate the Winter Solstice and hung these beautiful prayer flags. The flags were larger than I expected and the color is bright and beautiful. In less than 1 hour the flags had relaxed and hung straight down. They look amazing is the breeze. My attendants were in aww with the quality and symbolism the flags brought to our gathering. I had purchased 4 sets Thank you soooooo much!!!! Love to all in this shop and artists ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

How are the workers compensated for making these prayer flags? I don’t want flags made by underpaid workers. I previously bought my prayer flags from FPMT but they no longer sell them. Thank you

Hello Jim, thanks for your inquiry! Yes! Our Prayer Flags come assembled on a string or cord, and this specific roll includes 25 flags that measure approximately 11 by 12.25 inches. Hello G, thanks for reaching out to us! As stated in the product description, these flags are the traditional colors of yellow, white, red, blue, and green and include the Windhorse symbol. A Wind Horse is symbolic of the mind and the wind is its vehicle, therefore it can be ridden upon. This means that we all have the possibility of controlling the mind and can guide it towards any direction at any speed we wish.

Although we cannot directly translate the script around the windhorse, mantras of compassion, prosperity and health are commonly added. I hope this information is helpful! We appreciate your inquiry and support!
