A men's wrist mala designed by DharmaShop founder, Sander Cohen. Pairs well with a watch as the beads are soft and will not scratch the metal.
It features amazing small, dark Bodhi Seed beads found in Kathmandu along with incredible true Baltic Amber beads from Poland. Each Amber bead is completely unique.
Bodhi seed beads are an extremely helpful and powerful tool for counting mantras. These dark-speckled seed beads have special meaning for all seekers of divine wisdom.

"Bodhi" in Sanskrit means enlightenment; as an "enlightened" seed, many practitioners use these mala beads for their essence and inherent teachings within each seed.

Amber is known to be a healing stone; balancing emotions, clearing the mind, and releasing negative energy. A warm stone, it aids in relieving stress by diminishing phobias and fears. It is also considered a symbol of beauty and tenderness, a good-luck talisman for increasing natural radiance and attracting lasting love.

Size:

Small measures approximately 6.5" around. Large measures about 8"around.

Beads are about 10-12mm. Strung on elastic cord.

The last wrist Mala I’ll ever buy myself

This is a beautiful mala. The amber has such character and the bodhi seeds have the most beautiful natural pits and splits in them. I will say that the small size will not fit most men. I’ve always had a thin wrist though. I’m 5”7 and 135 lbs, and it fits me PERFECTLY. It’s like it was tailor-made for me. Service a shipping from this lovely business is always competent and timely. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Dharmashop! I also loved that my mala was wrapped in a recycled science textbook page! Thanks!

How many beads does the smaller wrist mala have? What is the ratio between bodhi seeds and amber? Thanks in advance

Hello Justin, thanks for your inquiry! There are always 5 amber beads in each bracelet, but the specific bodhi seed count will vary from bracelet to bracelet. With a natural seed bead like bodhi, the size of the beads will differ, so our jewelry designer ensures each small bracelet no matter the bead count will work great for a 6.5" wrist size! Hello Glen, thank you for your inquiry! You can re-oil your bodhi seed beads, and add a fragrance if you choose. We suggest using a small amount of organic walnut oil, beeswax, or mineral oil in your hand along with an essential oil (optional) and then rub into your wood/seed seeds thoroughly. If you live in a dry climate this may need to be done every few months to maintain the beads but otherwise once a year may be sufficient.
