• This adjustable necklace features a hand carved and painted stone tube bead with Buddha's Wisdom Eyes and the mantra of compassion carved into it.
• Many of our customers have told us that this necklace reminds them directly of their travels to Nepal or their fondness for Himalayan culture.
• Unlike most of our items, these necklaces aren't actually exclusive to DharmaShop.  You can find these in many shops in Thamel where hikers and trekkers often go before heading to Everest Base Camp.  We are happy to carry such an item directly from Nepal!

The compassion mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.

Buddha's Wisdom Eyes are a constant reminder of the compassion of the Buddha.  They are so prevalent throughout the country that they have become a symbol of Nepal itself.

Due to the handcrafted nature of the painted stone bead, the color will begin to fade over time and with use.  We consider this special process to be a visual representation of the growth in your practice and a further reminder of impermanence.

Sizing:

Necklace measures approximately 26 inches around when fully opened and tightens to about 14 inches.  Stone bead measures about 1.25 inches.
