The flags arrived pristine. I hung them on a rustic planter box outside my office window. It was a very windy day and I discovered moments later that they had gotten wrapped around a planter slat and were a little frayed on the edges. Not enough to take away from their beauty. Actually, just enough to provide me a little “wabi sabi.”
I untied them and tied the ends further apart, creating less of an arc, and they’ve been fine ever since. They still flap around in the strong winds, but they always seem to settle back to their original position. No new fraying.
Very nice!
