Most of our incense are handcrafted by the nuns of the Khachoe Ghakyil Ling Nunnery in Nepal. All proceeds from the hand rolled incense goes to support the nuns and their surrounding community. Follow along to learn more about their process and take a tour of the beautiful nunnery!
Using only natural ingredients and traditional methods, this selection of incense are wonderful to create a fragrant environment for daily use and meditation. Each set are carefully cut, rolled, and packaged by hand. It is one of our favorite places to visit when we travel to Nepal!
Also the Khachoe Ghakyil Ling Nunnery offers monastic education for its Nuns. Many of the women and girls in the nunnery are Tibetan refugees, and now they study philosophy, and engage in intensive practice. We had the opportunity to take a tour of their space, and you can see it is truly stunning! Take a look:
