• Handmade in Nepal by a 4th and 5th generation crafting family, this statue is made of hand carved Quartz Crystal gemstone that is wrapped in bronze and then gold-plated.
• It is hand detailed and expertly carved by master craftsmen.  This process takes considerable time and skill.  Each and every detail is truly incredible!  Includes pieces of inlaid gemstones, coral, and lapis.

Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara, is one of the most popular of all Buddhist deities and is beloved throughout the Buddhist world.  Whenever we are compassionate, we experience our own natural connection with Chenrezig.  

Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, also known as the Thousand Arm Chenrezig, is the embodiment of great compassion, vowed to free all sentient beings from suffering.  In Buddhist art, Avalokiteshvara is often shown with multiple heads and arms which symbolize his limitless capacity to perceive suffering and to help all beings.
