Handmade in Nepal, this classic mala features 108 hand strung and individually knotted Rosewood beads with a matching guru bead and tied ends.

This mala is just as described and pictured. It’s really meant to be used frequently, which I can’t say about some of the more “ornamental,” precious or complicated ones I’ve seen. The knots make counting easy and smooth. The item is of high quality and has a very benign and welcoming feel to it. Highly recommended :)

Nice looking but..

I just got my malas today. I ordered 2, this one and the plain black version for my partner. They are beautiful except for one thing, the very bottom bead below the guru bead was cracked. It is disappointing because these are the first malas i have ordered and dont want to send them back because i wont have an item to practice with and since the bottom bead is just for aesthetics im leaving a review instead of asking for an exchange because i want to practice my meditation.
