This beautiful ceramic black lotus flower incense burner is handmade by potters in Kathmandu.
In many cultures, the lotus flower represents purity and peace, blooming through the mud.
Burning incense is great for for encouraging relaxation and focus during personal meditation, cleansing the energy in your surroundings, or purely for enjoying the fragrance.

As it grows out of and sits on top of muddy waters, the lotus flower symbolizes wisdom, compassion, and healing. Burner includes one larger hole for Tibetan incense and three smaller holes for Japanese incense.

I really wanted to like it...

It is a lovely looking incense burner. Unfortunately, the 3 smaller incense holes are just not big enough and the incense nubs get stuck in there. The holes don't go all the way through so there is no way to "poke out" the remaining incense nubs. I'll be buying a different one.
