  |

PAIR IT WITH

Hand-picked by DharmaShop in collaboration with one of Nepal's greatest singing bowl producers, collectors, and sound therapy luminaries. Ensuring authenticity and quality of appearance and sound.
  • Sold Individually. Each one of these amazing Tibetan bowls are hand picked by DharmaShop owner Sander Cohen. Each hand chosen for quality and sound from an amazing collection of old bowls in Kathmandu, Nepal.
  • These are all around 4.75 to 5.5 inches in diameter and about 2 to 3 inches deep. Each bowl is totally unique and weighs about 8-12 oz.
  • This product listing is for one individual old bowl from the exquisite collection.

These bowls are replacing our beloved collection of Old Tarvati Bowls. Acquired from one of our favorite singing bowl collectors and sound therapy practitioners in Kathmandu, our Heirloom Thado Bowls are some of the highest quality antique bowls we've had in our collection. While opening the shipment from Kathmandu, we were distracted by the beautiful details on each bowl, marveling at the unique characteristics created over time, giving each bowl it's own story. The tones are warm and clear with long-lasting resonance.

A note from Sander - Many sellers try to convince customers that bowls are from the 15th or 16th century, which I believe is false. After seeing much of the data that has come back over the years, I do think these bowls predate the Chinese occupation. Many of them have been dated back hundreds of years. I still prefer to sell bowls by quality, rather than for their age, and only choose remarkable bowls by hand.
