This beautiful 108 bead traditional Tibetan mala is completely one-of-a-kind! It features gorgeous green African turquoise beads with white spacers, 5 smaller rudraksha beads, 1 large rudraksha, an ancient Indian bead, brass Om pendant, and a hand carved bone feather pendant as well.
Rudraksha seeds, also known as the tears of Shiva, are believed to increase concentration, providing clarity and peace of mind. They’re also thought to improve memory and relieve stress. It is believed that the Rudraksha contains the secrets of the entire evolution of the cosmos within it. In the Himalayas, it is typical for large animals such as yak or water buffalo to be used for service and then slaughtered for food, clothing, utensils, and ritual items. Given the limited amount of resources and the religious practices of the people in the region, it is important that none of the animal goes to waste. African turquoise opens the mind to new ideas, new possibilities and new existence.
Mala measures approximately 32 inches around. Green African turquoise beads are 6mm, smaller rudraksha beads are 10mm, large one is 18mm. Bone feather measures about 2 1/4 inches long and 5/8 inch wide.
