Our new and exclusive Amethyst Buddha mala is hand strung right here at the DharmaShop with materials sourced from all over the world. It features a beautiful combination of matte Amethyst and polished chevron Amethyst beads. The main focal point of the mala is the hand carved banded Amethyst meditating Buddha pendant.
Each bead is unique and reflects its own complex swirls and bands of purple. The pendant consists of a banded Amethyst gemstone that is hand carved in Kathmandu and then placed inside of a sterling silver setting.
Amethyst stone is used to increase the strength of one’s inner and intuitive awareness. It is a meditative and calming stone which works in the emotional, spiritual, and physical planes to promote calm, balance, peace, and healing.
Mala measures approximately 30 inches around. Matte Amethyst beads are 8mm, polished chevron Amethyst beads are 6mm. Buddha pendant measures about 1 1/2 inches tall, 1 inch wide, and 1/2 inch thick.
