Flower Moon Bowl 118

  |
  • A one-of-a-kind Super Flower Blood Moon Tibetan singing bowl handmade in the Kathmandu Valley by fifth and sixth generation singing bowl artists.
  • These incredible singing bowls harness the energy of the Flower Moon to give extraordinary and long lasting vibrations while promoting healing and encouraging growth and transformation.
  • Each bowl was hand selected in Nepal for their amazing quality of sound by the DharmaShop team.  They are hand hammered, hand carved, and hand tuned by the best singing bowl artists in Kathmandu.

This bowl is handmade during and directly under the light of the rare Super Blood Flower Moon in May of 2021.  A combination of 3 lunar events converged to create this spectacular moon phase.  First, this Flower Moon took place during a super moon, where the moon’s full phase while in orbit comes closest to earth, making it look larger and brighter.  It also passed through the earth's shadow, giving viewers in the right location a total eclipse.  While the moon is in the earth's shadow, it takes on a red tint known as a Blood Moon.  Finally, May's full moon is traditionally referred to as the Flower Moon.  This combination created the extraordinary and rare Super Blood Flower Moon!

The Flower moon carries a very meaningful message and an incredibly special energy.  It is a full moon that offers healing and contemplation as it represents the new growth that springs forward during that month.  Blooming flowers are recognized as a symbol of new life, renewal, and new beginnings.  It is a great reminder to let go of the past and embrace the now.  As each bowl is handcrafted under the Flower Moon's light, it is imbued with an illuminating energy of transformation.

Each bowl features gorgeous hand carved details including an exclusive full moon singing bowl stamp, an original makers mark,  and the mantra of compassion in Tibetan script.  The mantra invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.  The full moon singing bowl stamp is also known as the symbol of longevity and happiness.

Bowl rings at a G note when struck with a woolen mallet.  This note resonates with the Throat Chakra.  It influences communication, dreaming, artistic expression, good judgment, self-belief, wisdom, and truthfulness.  When the Throat Chakra is balanced, it allows for free communication, helping us to feel centered and happy.

Measures approximately 5.25 inches in diameter and is about 2.75 inches deep. Comes with a traditional wooden striker.

All sound recordings are made by striking the bowl once with our Handcrafted Red Wool Mallet!
