Hecho de manera tradicional, cada diseño se corta a mano para crear una apariencia tridimensional que emula una piel de tigre real. Tejido a mano y con 100 nudos por pulgada cuadrada.
Las alfombras tibetanas y las alfombras de tigre son obras de arte verdaderamente hermosas conocidas por su calidad y longevidad.

Se sabe que el tigre simboliza la confianza incondicional y la conciencia disciplinada, la bondad y la modestia. El tigre está asociado con la confianza, el dominio sobre el bosque y el elemento aire. Muchos tibetanos creen que meditar sobre una alfombra de tigre te protegerá de la negatividad y mejorará tu práctica de meditación.

Cada alfombra de tigre está hecha con lana 100% tibetana y neozelandesa que presenta un mayor contenido de lanolina, lo que permite que el agua gotee en la superficie de la alfombra. Fabricado en Nepal. Publicado en el Wall Street Journal en octubre de 2014.

Thank you for the Magical Piece of Art

What is the construction method on this rug? Is it knotted, tuffted? Cleaning and care?

As stated in the description, this rug is knotted in the traditional manner, each design is cut by hand to create a 3-dimensional look that emulates a real tiger skin. Hi. I have been looking at your tiger rugs for a few years. I feel very confident in your site and the products that you offer. What would you say sets your rugs apart from others? Would you say this rendition of a Tiger Rug is more traditional or authentic than silk? My fear lies, I guess, in not getting the most authentic rug possible as there seems to be many examples of Tibetan rugs online and several different price points. I completely understand that these rugs are handmade and yield variations. Would there be any way to get an idea or picture of the exact rug I am purchasing? Thank you, Kent

All of our rugs are handmade and loomed by artisans in Kathmandu, Nepal and they only use traditional Tibetan looming methods when creating these styles. Each design is cut by hand and feature 100 knots per square inch making them high quality for your indoor space!
