A solid handheld bowl!

A great compliment to my Soundbath Bowl! The finish is flawless as something truly handmade and hand-hammered could be! I did request a bowl in G to finish a set of my 6 other Dharma Shop bowls and I received one with a note of E. However this ended up working out just as good as I expected a G note to be.

Great value, helps with meditation

Even this smaller bowl sounds incredible, and has so many different tones depending on where you strike it. Definitely the wool mallet is a MUST with this bowl, to produce the incredible tones that are perfect for meditation. Also, once I learned that the wooden end of the striker is required to make it sing, it sang very easily. Seems pretty thick, which probably helps with that. Overall, just an incredible value. Almost invalidates any reason to get another bowl, but I probably will anyway :)

Gleaming bowl with deep tones

I have a couple of signing bowls of varying types & sizes. (This way I can meditate with them all over the house.). I fell for this one as soon as I saw & heard it on the site. Though the site describes it as "small", it is large enough to have a moderately deep bell tone and a delightful, deep singing tone. It sings without difficulty-impressive, since I am new to this and still developing my skills. The included mallet is a good choice. Its carved style is pleasing to the eye, and its long, slender neck makes it easy to hold. Then, there is the look. It positively gleams! Even just looking at it can be meditative. Finally, the act that it is handmade is appealing; like many buyers here, I like the fact that it supports craftsmen.

Hello Veronica, thanks for your inquiry! Most traditional Tibetan singing bowls are made using a special blend of 7 metals including: gold, silver, copper, iron, tin, mercury, and lead. However, only 2 metals are critical to the sound and function of a singing bowl. This bronze alloy of copper and tin is commonly referred to as bell metal. Bell metal is about 80% copper and 20% tin. So, our singing bowls are made up mostly of bell metal, with a very small amount of the additional 7 metals added due to the traditional aspects although they do not affect the sound or function of the bowl. I am interested in this bowl or the small hammered bowl. I understand that each bowl will have different tones. I am hoping for a bowl that most resonates with the root and sacral chakras. Is there a way for you to select one for me based on this preference? Thank you and sat nam.
