Sun and Moon Layering Necklace

• Handmade by the Karen Hill Tribe silversmiths in Northern Thailand, this versatile black and white layering necklace features oxidized and non-oxidized 98% pure Hill Tribe silver beads knotted on black waxed linen cord.
• Each bead is hand stamped with an ancient Hill Tribe sun symbol.  Lines surround a stamped circle just as beams of light radiate from the sun.
• The combination of dark and light creates a yin-yang design that carries with it a meaningful message of interconnectedness and balance.
  

This contrast of light and dark is reminiscent of the duality between the sun and the moon.  Together, the sun and moon represent balance and harmony.  Although they are opposites, they compliment one another.  The sun and moon are symbols that encompass harmony and balance within the universe.

A sliding bead closure allows you adjust the length of the necklace or wrap it around the wrist as a bracelet.  Wear it on it's own or pair it with some of your favorite necklaces and malas for a stylish and trendy layered look!

Necklace measures approximately 32 inches around when fully tightened and opens to about 38 inches.  Beads are about 2mm thick.
