Turquoise and Red Jasper Wrist Mala

Brightly colored turquoise beads make up the majority of this wrist mala.  Accented with two red jasper beads and one carnelian guru bead, this wrist mala is bold, beautiful, and traditional.

Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors.  It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, healing to the eye, as if carved from an azure heaven and slipped to earth.  Its unique shade of blue, often blue-green, lends it name, Turquoise, to all things of this tranquil hue.  The delicate veining or mottled webbing in cream or brown is inherent to the stone and serves to enhance its character.  Red jasper is known to bring fairness and justice to certain situations.  It has a stabilizing effect, which helps to take all of your energy and use it in a balanced manner.  Carnelian promotes confidence and creativity, giving you the courage to make positive life choices.

Made on durable stretchy cord, this wrist mala measures approximately 7 inches around, fitting most wrists measuring 5 to 8 inches.  Includes twenty-one 8mm pressed turquoise beads, two 8mm red jasper beads, and one 10mm carnelian guru bead.  Handmade in Kathmandu, Nepal.
