In the Himalayas it is typical for large animals such as yak and water buffalo to be used for service and then slaughtered for food, clothing, utensils, and ritual items. Given the limited resources and religious practices in the region none of the animal goes to waste.
This adjustable wrist mala is strung black cord and can fit wrists that measure approximately 7 to 10 inches in circumference. Contains 14 wood beads including the toggle beads and 9 skull bone beads.
