Our newly upgraded hand-painted Medicine Buddha Singing Bowl now features even more exquisite detail, sacred symbolism, and deeper meaning than ever before. Handcrafted with intention. Played with purpose.
This upgraded bowl is not just a visual masterpiece - it is an energetic tool for healing. The combination of sound and sacred imagery amplifies meditation, helping to reduce stress, promote relaxation, deepen mindfulness, and create a calming space.
The Medicine Buddha's powerful presence enhances the vibrational energy of the bowl, making it an essential tool for those seeking healing, balance, and spiritual growth.
Made in Nepal by third and fourth-generation artisans, this hand-cast singing bowl is meticulously tuned to produce, clear, resonant tones that make it easy to play and perfect for both beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Whether used for meditation, relaxation, or sound healing, this bowl is a powerful tool for cultivating peace, well-being, and spiritual connection.
A deity of compassion and healing, the Medicine Buddha is revered for alleviating suffering and illness, both physical and mental. His image, radiating light, is surrounded by his sacred mantra, "Om Bekandze Bekandze, Maha Bekandze, Radza Samudgate Soha." This translates to, "May the many sentient beings who are sick, quickly be freed from sickness. And may all the sicknesses of beings never arise again."
Featured on the inside rim of the bowl is the Om Mani Padme Hum mantra inside of lotus petals, invoking compassion, wisdom, and protection from negativity.
Complementing this are intricate Eternal Knot mandalas, symbolizing the interconnectedness of all things and intertwining of wisdom and compassion.
Separating each mandala is a Dorje, known as the Sacred Thunderbolt, a powerful Tibetan symbol of protection and spiritual strength.
Your bowl comes with a wood and suede striker and blue brocade ring cushion hand stitched and stuffed with up-cycled materials.Includes a DharmaShop keepsake bag.

Q:How different is the sound when a traditional mallet is used. The recorded sound is beautiful.

A:Mark, thank you for asking about the Medicine Buddha Singing Bowl. Depending on the mallet you choose, you are able to achieve different sounds and tones with your bowl. By striking with the wool mallet, you're able to get the simple and steady tone that you hear in the recording. By using a wooden striker, you can sing around the rim of the bowl to achieve higher tones along with the overtones of the bowl at the same time. By striking with a wooden striker, as it is a harder material than wool, it will give you a harder tone. We offer many types of mallets so that you can try different things with your bowl and see what works for you. Hopefully this information has been helpful! Thanks again for your inquiry and support!
