Guru Rinpoche, also called Padmasambhava, is known as a character of literature and knowledge.  Guru Rinpoche was a historical teacher who is said to have finally converted Tibet to Buddhism.  He was a renowned scholar, meditator, and magician, and his mantra suggests his rich and diverse nature.

The traditional Tibetan brocade fabric is a polyester and silk blend, making it a long-lasting and versatile material.  It features gold lotus designs on royal blue with red and yellow framing around the painting.

Painted area measures approximately 10 inches wide and 14.75 inches tall.  Frame measures approximately 19 inches wide and 34 inches tall.
