Fearless Green Tara Painted Statue

• An incredible one-of-a-kind Green Tara statue hand crafted and painted in Kathmandu, Nepal.
  
• Made over a 3-5 month long process involving casting, creating wax molds, making plaster molds for bronze pouring, and then hand detailing and carving before the finishing artists even see the statues.
• After being hand detailed and expertly carved by master craftsmen, the statue is then sent to the finishing artists to be hand painted with beautiful colors and gold accents.  Each and every detail is truly incredible!

Green Tara is known as the Buddha of enlightened activity, filled with youthful vigor.  She is the fiercer form of Tara, but is still a savior-goddess of compassion.  Green Tara is intensely compassionate and acts quickly to help those who call upon her.

Each statue is full of colorful painted detail including lotus flowers and two swimming fish.  The two fish represent fearlessness.  Living without danger of drowning in the ocean of sufferings, just as fish swim freely without fear through water.  The lotus flower, in many cultures, represents purity and peace, blooming through the mud.

Statue measures approximately 5.25 inches tall and 3.25 inches wide at the base.
