Authentic, traditional wrist mala hand strung with dark Bodhi Seed beads.
The larger size of these beads can be very satisfying for counting and meditation.
Simply strung and finished with a guru bead and knotted ends. Handmade in Kathmandu, Nepal in the shadow of Boudhanath Stupa

Bodhi seed beads can be used for counting all types of mantras as well as other prayers. These dark-speckled seed beads have special meaning for all seekers of divine wisdom. "Bodhi" in Sanskrit means enlightenment; as an "enlightened" seed, many practitioners use these malas for their essence and inherent teachings within each seed.

Size:

Small is approximately 6-6.5" around when fully tightened and opens to about 8".

Large is about 7.5" around and opens to about 10".

Beads are about 13mm, guru bead is about 15mm.

Do you all have care suggestions? Is it OK to wear ALL the time? Can I get it wet? I did by the oil, how often should I put it on?

Bodhi seeds are porous in nature, so oiling them occasionally can help as well. How do I loosen my wrist Mala. It is so tight I cannot adjust it. TY.

Hey Barbara! Thanks for your message and inquiry. The hand-tied knot serves as a tube through which the two cords slide. Without untying or loosening the knot, grasp the beads of the bracelet on either side of the knot and firmly pull. The first few times may require greater strength as the cords are exercised. To tighten, grasp the toggle beads and pull. I have also included a video below which helps further detail the adjustable knot feature. I hope this information is helpful! how many beads are on the mala? a wrist mala should be multiples of 9 that can be multiplied and come to an even 108 so the bead amounts should be 9, 18 , 27 , 36 , 54 and 108, makes recital rotations easy and will always end on the guru . im only counting 23 in the picture
