Auspicious Symbols Handheld Prayer Wheel

  |

PAIR IT WITH

  • A sacred symbol of Tibetan Buddhist practice, this traditional handheld prayer wheel honors centuries of spiritual heritage.
  • Handcrafted by skilled artisans in Nepal, it features a beautifully carved wooden handle and a finely details brass and copper wheel. The outer casing is adorned with the Eight Auspicious Symbols and two lines of the compassion mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, in Sanskrit script—each spin of the wheel is believed to send those blessings into the universe.
  • Inside, scrolls of printed mantras amplify with every clockwise turn, multiplying prayers for peace, compassion, and good karma. The wheel can also be opened to include your own written intentions, connecting your personal practice.

Inspired by the prayer wheels found in monasteries, stupas, and temples across the Himalayas, this design is deeply rooted in traditional form and function. May it bring blessings to your journey and serve as a meaningful tool for reflection and positive transformation.

Size:

~10" long and 2.5" in diameter.

It beats ANYTHING factory-made!

This is my second prayer wheel from The Dharma Shop as I prefer to keep a specific set of prayers with each prayer wheel in addition to the ones already included. I love the size of it as well as the undeniable signs of this being a true hand-made item as the 8 auspicious symbols all appear to be separate made pieces later welded/soldered on. There is a tiny bit of noise when spun, but it's nothing a tiny bit of oil on the spoke can't fix if needed. As with all hand-made items, one should expect imperfections, however there was nothing of concern at all with this piece. Truly another special addition to my meditation space.

Auspicious Symbols Handheld Prayer Wheel

I was very disappointed it has a ding in the lid, the lid does not stay on in use, it makes an awful squealing sound and I have written it off as a very bad sale. Especially since I went to the trouble I writing my own pray. I realised I need to pay for a larger wheel that has more than a Spike and a handle. There is authenticity and just awful. Sorry to give the truth but I had no choice.
