Handmade in Nepal, this classic wrist mala features individually knotted dark rosewood beads on adjustable cord.
Hand knotted malas and wrist malas are some of our most requested and popular items, as they are great for meditation practice.
These rosewood beads are naturally stained to achieve their beautiful dark color.

Wood is thought to be a grounding energy, bringing the wearer closer to the Earth. Associated with the Heart Chakra, rosewood is known for its compassionate and healing energies. It is an excellent healing source to begin working with, and assists you in healing yourself and others. It helps manifest what you desire, dream, or need to be.

Adjustable wrist mala measures approximately 7 inches around when fully tightened and opens to about 10 inches. Beads are about 8mm.

Great look and fit

I enjoy the dark look and fit of this mala, and the adjustable slider is good and tight so it holds its size once it's on. It's a lot lighter than I expected so it feels odd in practice for my taste, but it's hard to beat for the price. Matches well with just about any other mala, bracelet, or watch.

Exceeded Expectations

Given the great comments and nice presentations on the web site, my expectations were high. The items I received (3 wrist mala and a 108 bead mala) greatly exceeded what I expected. Care is obvious in everything from the packaging to the artisan-ship of the items themselves. These are gifts for my daughters who inspire me to be a better person every moment and dark rosewood for my father-in-law in his fight against cancer.
