Evil Eye Impermanence Mala & Bracelet Set

• Handcrafted in Nepal, this mala necklace and wrist mala combines two of our favorite spiritual values - protection and impermanence.
• Each traditional bone bead is carved with the Evil Eye symbol for protection.  They serve as a reminder to live in the present moment; because nothing is permanent, everything is possible.
• Because the beads are naturally stained, the color can begin to fade over time and with use.  We consider this special process to be a visual representation of the growth in your practice and a further reminder of impermanence.

The Evil Eye is an ancient symbol believed to offer protection from various types of negativity or maliciousness including unintentional, intentional, or unseen.  The symbol is often seen in blue, a traditional color for good karma, positive energy, and protection.  This necklace offers the wearer protection, positive energy, and healing while keeping a watchful eye over you as you move forward through your journey.

Many Buddhist practices revolve around impermanence.  We live only in the present moment and it is helpful to remember that nothing lasts.  Bone jewelry is featured prominently in Tibetan symbolism and many of our DharmaShop customers are fond of this reminder that nothing lasts forever.

Sizing:

Mala measures approximately 30 inches around with an adjustable knot.  Beads are about 8mm.

Wrist Malas is available in two sizes with an adjustable knot.  Small measures about 6.5 inches around when fully tightened and opens to 8 inches.  Large measures approximately 7.25 inches around and opens to 10 inches.  Beads are about 8mm.
