Rudraksha beads are sacred seeds known for their healing properties and protective powers. By meditating with a Rudraksha mala, it is believed to increase the ability to concentrate, giving clarity and peace of mind. These seed beads are able to activate all of the body's chakras to influence overall health and well-being.

These natural and sustainable beads are collected after the seeds fall organically from the tree. They are sanded in a tumbler for comfort before being naturally stained to achieve their beautiful dark color and aged appearance.

beautiful beads

i pulled it too tight at first and made it impossible to adjust but that’s on me lol. i undid the knot and did another (not perfect but pretty good!) high quality string and the beads are beautiful. my favorite mala to meditate with, it comes with me everywhere

Thanks so much for reaching out to us! We do not have any rudraksha beads larger then the 8-9mm size stated, so if you would like a larger seed bead I would suggest our bodhi! They can range from 12-14mm in size, and I have linked them below for easy shopping:

Hello Lonie, thanks for your inquiry! The Amazing Old Rudraksha Beads are assembled and crafted in Kathmandu, Nepal. We do not have a specific age of these darker colored seed beads, but estimate their age to be 10-30 years old. I hope this information is helpful! We appreciate your support of Himalayan artisans.

Are they all the same size muhki or are their some 4 muhki mixed with 5 or 6?

Hello Jay, thanks for your inquiry! As we have so many handmade 108 bead rudraksha malas and wrist malas, we do not source our rudraksha beads based on their number of faces or mukhi but rather by their overall quality and physical characteristics such as shape and size. The mala artisans select beads based on these qualities to ensure that bead size and overall circumference of the mala are more uniform. I have found that many of our standard 8mm rudraksha beads tend to have 5 faces, but can be anywhere from 3-5 and aren’t always uniform from bead to bead. The number of faces can vary because again, the overall quality, size, and shape of the rudraksha is how the beads are selected. I hope this information is helpful! If these are old then it means its energy is also contaminated right? How would it get black color? Also, are the total rudraksha beads 108 in number?

With any old or antique malas, there could very well be some positive energy from the previous mala user, but you could also cleanse your mala before practice would could aid in creating a fresh start! Our customers have suggested a number of different ways to do this, but some examples would be with a singing bowl tone, a mantra of your choice, burning incense etc. I hope this information is helpful!
