Memories of Tibet Bracelet

  |

40 years ago my friend Pema's father came to the USA with a suitcase full of family treasures.  These exquisite bracelets were solid silver and he sold them to private buyers and museums.  The traditional designs live on and Nepali, Newari, and Tibetan artisans continue the craft of jewelry making in the Kathmandu Valley.

This exquisite bracelet is based on an old design, is silver plated and made with turquoise chips and sherpa coral to keep costs down.  This is a stunningly beautiful handmade design.

Unlatches at the back to open, fits wrists up to 7 inches around.  This is a large bracelet, measuring 2 2/3 inches wide at its largest part and 1 1/4 inches wide in the back.
