Green Tara Etched Tibetan Singing Bowl

  |
  • Our etched Tibetan singing bowl is incredibly detailed and was hand picked from a stunning collection of carved singing bowls made in Kathmandu.
  • It is cast, hammered, polished, and carved entirely by hand.  Absolutely no detail was spared in the crafting of this bowl!
  • Inside the bowl is a detailed image of Green Tara.  The 8 Auspicious Symbols can be seen along the inside rim of the bowl with beautiful lotus flower designs.

Green Tara is known as the Buddha of enlightened activity, filled with youthful vigor.  She is the fiercer form of Tara, but is still a savior-goddess of compassion.  Green Tara is intensely compassionate and acts quickly to help those who call upon her.

In Buddhist legend, the 8 Auspicious Symbols represent offerings the gods made to the Buddha after his enlightenment.  It is believed that each of these symbols have powers to bring blessings.

Bowl rings at a A note when struck with a woolen mallet. This note resonates with the Third Eye Chakra. When this chakra is balanced, we are able to better connect to our intuition and imagination, visualize, concentrate, have insight, enlightenment and a finely tuned awareness.

Measures approximately 11.5 inches in diameter and is about 5.5 inches deep. Cushion sold separately.

All sound recordings are made by striking the bowl once with our Handcrafted Red Wool Mallet!
