Handmade in Nepal, this mala includes 108 fragrant Sandalwood beads with3 traditional Tibetan marker beads and a gorgeous tassel.
These vintage style beads are made of brass with inlaid Turquoise and Coral pieces.
The inlaid accent bead before the tassel features the mantra of compassion, Om Mani Padme Hum. This mantra invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.

Sandalwood is a sacred wood with a lovely aromatic scent thatis excellent for staying present and alert during meditation, which makes it wonderful for ritual and spiritual practice. Its fragrance is said to transform desires and bring emotional balance.

Size:

Approximately 27" around.

Sandalwood beads are 7mm, Tibetan beads are 8mm by 10mm. Tassel is 3.5".

Really nice..

I thought these would be nice, but I did not think they would be that nice! I bought these for a friend and I’m pleased to say these are lovely! I love the scent as well, it’s not strong but it’s enough! Very nice beads!

Exactly What I wanted

This is a beautiful mala. The fragrance is very faint, but an occasional touch up with sandalwood essential oil takes care of that.
