These beautiful small lokta paper flags are handmade in Nepal and feature images of the Medicine Buddha in gold printing.
Great for adorning Christmas trees and hanging indoors or on a covered porch.
Lokta paper is made entirely by a local women's co-operative community in Kathmandu involved in the ecological treatment and preservation of the forest. It is 100% sustainable and eco-friendly.

The Medicine Buddha is a deity of compassion and healing. He is believed to alleviate suffering for mental and physical illness. Often his image is shown with rays of lapis lazuli light radiating from his crown.

Set includes 25 flags that measure approximately 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches. Entire strand measures about 12 feet long. Handmade of lokta paper in Kathmandu, Nepal.
