Our new handmade malas from Kathmandu feature rudraksha beads, four Om compassion mantra beads, and a silver stamped accent bead. These impressive grounding and natural beads remind us of our impermanence in this world. May be worn either around the neck or wrapped around the wrist.

Rudraksha beads are known for their healing properties and protective powers. According to ancient Vedic texts, these beads are endowed with cosmic powers to elevate the soul and assist on the path of ascension. By meditating with a rudraksha mala it is believed to increase the ability to concentrate, giving clarity and peace of mind, as well as improving memory and relieving stress and anxiety.

108 - 10mm beads. Measures approximately 44 inches around and hangs about 24 inches. Handmade in Nepal.

Mala is just great! The panch mukhi rudraksha are truly nice. They were obviously chosen with attention and the five faces are clear making these good quality rudraksha. I also, very much like the "om compassion mantra" markers beads along with the yellow cord that is strong and nicely knotted. Guru bead is sanded and polished (appears to be either a bodhi seed or rudrax) with the very nice silver stamped tower bead really accent well and all come together to make this beautiful mala. Highly recommended!

Rudraksha Mala Necklace

This Mala Necklace is my lifeline at work. I pray and meditate holding this Mala Necklace. It is so relaxing. I get so much joy with this Mala. I plan on getting the Yak Bone Mala next.
