Traditional Tibetan Copper Prayer Wheel

  |

From Buddhist centers and temples, to monasteries and stupas, prayer wheels are turned clockwise to release prayers and mantras into the heavens.  This finely crafted handheld prayer wheel is made of brass with copper details and a hand carved wooden handle.

The outside of the prayer wheel features two lines of the compassion mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, in copper Sanskrit script.  Inside are scrolls containing mantras and prayers which multiply with each turn.  It can be opened to add your own prayers.

Spin the wheel clockwise whenever you feel the need to improve your karma.  We hope it brings you continuous good wishes and joy!

Prayer wheel measures approximately 8 1/2 inches long and 1 3/4 inches in diameter.  Made in Nepal.

Prayer Wheel

My prayer wheel didn't spin when I received it. I took the top off and oiled it a bit and now it works fine. It is a nice size for travel.

Prayer Wheel

I've ordered two of these to keep in different places, and have used them for months without any problems. The top comes off at times, but I understand it's so you can put new prayers inside, or see the prayers that have been put in already. Easy to put top back on. I use both my wheels every day, and have found them to be a beautiful way to stay in a meditative state of Oneness throughout the day. Highly recommend. Nice price, and nice way to support our friends in Nepal. :)
