• Just like our mugs, these drippers are handmade in the ancient city of Bhaktapur by a family-run artisan group. Like the ceramics creation process, the pour-over method encourages a slow and deliberate approach to coffee brewing. It's a ritual, not a routine.

We worked for nearly two years with the ceramics artisans in Kathmandu to create what we believe is the perfect stoneware mug - we use them daily at our DharmaShop office for coffee and tea! When holding these heirloom pieces, you can truly feel the care and artistry that went into each and every part of the process that brought this clay to life.

During our trip to Nepal earlier this year, we were fortunate enough to witness the creation of these beautiful tools firsthand. We saw the care and skill that goes into each piece, and even requested adjustments to ensure the dripper size perfectly fits your DharmaShop mug. This meticulous process results in a dripper that allows for a controlled pour-over experience, maximizing flavor extraction and minimizing waste for the freshest cup possible.

Using locally sourced red clay, each dripper is thrown by hand using a traditional potters wheel before being dried under the Himalayan sun. They are bisque fired before being coated with lead-free, non-toxic glaze and fired for a second time to become stoneware, the most durable form of earthenware.

Color:

Stone is a creamy white glaze with warm undertones.

Care:

Each dripper is food, microwave, and dishwasher safe. However, we recommend hand-washing as it will extend the life of your pottery.
