White Tara Hand Etched Singing Bowl

  |
  • Our new etched Tibetan singing bowl is incredibly detailed, and was hand picked from a stunning collection of carved singing bowls made in Kathmandu.
  • It is cast, hammered, polished, and etched entirely by hand.  Absolutely no detail was spared in the crafting of this bowl.
  • Inside the bowl is a detailed image of White Tara.  The 8 Auspicious Symbols can be seen along the inside and outside rim of the bowl with a double dorje design on the bottom.

White Tara is the embodiment of healing, compassion, and wisdom.  With her seven eyes she sees all suffering and has the wisdom and guidance to help you through your practice.  She is often referred to as the 'swift Tara' as well as she is known for bringing quick relief to the suffering.

In Buddhist legend, the 8 Auspicious Symbols represent offerings the gods made to the Buddha after his enlightenment.  It is believed that each of these symbols have powers to bring blessings.

The double dorje represents that which cannot be destroyed, but which destroys all evil.  It is considered an emblem of protection.

Bowl rings at a A# note when struck with a woolen mallet. This note resonates with the Third Eye Chakra. When this chakra is balanced, we are able to better connect to our intuition and imagination, visualize, concentrate, have insight, enlightenment and a finely tuned awareness.

Measures approximately 12 inches in diameter and is about 5.5 inches deep. Cushion sold separately.

All sound recordings are made by striking the bowl once with our Handcrafted Red Wool Mallet!
