During our last trip to Nepal we found some extraordinary necklaces in a shop in Boudhanath. This necklace is based on an ancient necklace we found and uses true agate dzi beads with turquoise and coral spacers and the result is lovely.
Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, healing to the eye, as if carved from an azure heaven and slipped to earth.
Features seven true agate dzi beads with pressed turquoise and dyed white heart coral spacers. Measures approximately 21 inches around. Made in Nepal.
