In Zen Buddhism, an ensō is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create.  The ensō symbolizes absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, and the universe.

Earrings measure approximately 2.5 inches from top of wire to bottom.  The largest circle is about 1.25 inches and the smaller circle is about 0.75 inch.
