Sacred Geometry Singing Bowl

  |
  • The DharmaShop team here in Michigan worked for almost a year with the singing bowl artisans in Kathmandu to create this exclusive etched Sacred Geometry bowl! Handcrafted by 4th and 5th generation singing bowl masters.
  • Each bowl requires an incredible amount of time and skill to create, therefore this style is limited. Every piece is hand hammered and polished before being etched with extraordinary detail.
  • Inside features an intricate Tree of Enlightenment with sacred geometry designs including the Flower of Life, Sri Yantras, and Eternal Knots. Double dorje designs surround the outside of the bowl with an Eternal Knot geometry design grounding the base.

Tree of Life, also known as the Tree of Enlightenment, symbolizes many things including wisdom, protection, strength, bounty, beauty, and redemption. It was beneath the great bodhi tree that Buddha transformed all negative temptations and energies and achieved perfect enlightenment.

Based on the principles of sacred geometry, many of the designs on this bowl can be used for meditation to connect on a deeper spiritual level. Specifically, the Flower of Life is one of the most important and sacred patterns in the universe.

Yantras are geometrical designs based on the principles of sacred geometry and are used for meditation. It is said to be the geometric representation of the most sacred sounds in the Universe, including the sound of Om.

The double dorje represents that which cannot be destroyed, but which destroys all evil. It is considered an emblem of protection.

The Eternal Knot has special meaning throughout many cultures and can serve as a reminder of interconnectedness and unity. It is one of the 8 Auspicious Symbols that represents the intertwining of wisdom and compassion.

Great sound and beautiful

I don't know if I like this bowl better for its sound or for its beauty. I sound the bowl before and after I meditate. I am meditating a bit more regularly now because the bowl reminds me to meditate and rewards me with beautiful sound before and after.

Beautiful and meaningful

I love the deep sound of this bowl. I have several this size, because I love the sound so much. All of the artistry, both inside and out, is stunning to look at. But the Tree of Life on the inside is what drew me to this one. The Tree of Life, in my Jewish faith is a metaphor for Torah, the heart of who we are. So I relax when I listen to it and connect to my people when I look at it.

This Bowl is Lovely

I have wanted a singing bowl for a very long. When I say this one it spoke to me and I am so glad I waited. It has a lovely sound and the symbols and etchings are beautiful. I have not quite been able to get it to sing yet, but that's why it's called practice. Thank you for bringing such a work of art, sound and meditation to market.
