Bone Dzi Bead Necklace

• This necklace features a horizontal hanging two-eyed Dzi bead made of painted bone that is strung on an adjustable brown vegan leather cord. 
• Dzi beads are believed to offer protection for the wearer. The two-eyed Dzi bead is said to promote wealth, good health, success, compassion and glory.  It is believed to be good for balance in life.

A note about bone usage:  In the Himalayas, it is typical for large animals such as yak or water buffalo to be used for service, food, clothing, and ritual items.  Given the limited amount of resources and the religious practices of the people in the region, it is important that none of the animal goes to waste.  This amazing bone Dzi bead are handcrafted by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in daily life and spiritual practice.

Necklace length is fully adjustable.  Dzi measures about 1 inch long and 1/4 inch wide.
