Available in three designs: Medicine Buddha, Thousand Arm Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara, and the Eight Auspicious Symbols with a Double Dorje in the center.  Conch shells with this level of etching and detail are difficult to come by and sell quickly whenever we are lucky enough to find them.

The naga/conch shell is one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols and represents the fame of the Buddha's teaching which spreads in all directions like the sound of the conch trumpet.  It is a symbol which fearlessly proclaims the truth of the dharma.

Medicine Buddha is the deity of compassion and healing.  He is believed to alleviate suffering for mental and physical illness.

Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, also known as the Thousand Arm Chenrezig, is the embodiment of great compassion, vowed to free all sentient beings from suffering.  Shown with multiple heads and arms which symbolize his limitless capacity to perceive suffering and to help all beings.

In Buddhist legend, the Eight Auspicious Symbols represent offerings the gods made to the Buddha after his enlightenment.  It is believed that each of these symbols have powers to bring blessings.

Medicine Buddha conch shell measures approximately 6-6.25 inches long and 3.5-3.75 inches wide.

Avalokiteshvara conch shell measures approximately 6.5-7 inches long and 4 inches wide.

Auspicious Symbols conch shell measures approximately 7 inches long and 4 inches wide.
