Dark Bodhi Longevity Dzi Mala

Dzi beads are believed to offer protection for the wearer.  A Lotus Dzi bead possesses the power to purify the mind and heart, leading to a more calm and clear mind.  The longevity Dzi features a dark tortoise shell pattern and is also referred to as a "turtle back" Dzi.  This design represents a long and happy life.  It is known to improve health and healing while protecting from sickness and negativity.

Bodhi seed beads can be used for counting all types of mantras as well as other prayers.  These dark-speckled seed beads have special meaning for all seekers of divine wisdom.  "Bodhi" in Sanskrit means enlightenment; as an "enlightened" seed, many practitioners use these malas for their essence and inherent teachings within each seed.

Mala measures approximately 35 inches around.  Beads are 12-13mm.  Dzi bead is about 0.5 inch.  Dorje is about 1 inch wide.
