This large traditional mala is used for counting prayers and calming the mind. This bodhi seed mala features 3 coral spacers for energy and longevity. A great practice mala.
It was while meditating under a bodhi tree that Prince Siddhartha attained enlightenment and became the Buddha. The dark-speckled seeds thus have special meaning for all seekers of divine wisdom. "Bodhi" in Sanskrit means enlightenment; as an "enlightened" seed, many practitioners use these malas for their essence and inherent teachings within each seed.
Measures approximately 46 inches around. Beads are about 13mm, coral spacers are 12mm, the silver flower spacers are 22mm tall from top of bale and 11mm wide. Also contains bell and dorje counters.
