According to tradition, Shakyamuni shared his enlightened wisdom, promoted peace, and taught people how to unleash the great potential of their lives. His compassionate intention was to enable all people to attain the same awakened state of life that he had attained.
This statue is rich in Tibetan symbolism including: garuda imagery, snow lion, a dragon, and swimming fish. Each of these animals represents something special and are protectors of Buddhism and the dharma. The face of the statue is painted with gold leaf in the traditional manner. Every hand painted detail is truly extraordinary!
Statue measures approximately 9 inches tall and 6 inches wide at the base. Handmade in Nepal.
