Bodhi Seed beads can be used for counting all types of mantras, prayers, and spiritual reminders. These dark-speckled seed beads have special meaning for all seekers of divine wisdom. It was under the Bodhi tree that Buddha attained enlightenment, which is why "Bodhi" in Sanskrit translates to enlightenment; as in "enlightened" seed. Practitioners use these malas for their essence and inherent teachings within each seed.

The mala features long, flowing tassels that are common among antique malas, reflecting not only their age but the generations they have passed through. Traditional spacer beads crafted from antique Coral, revered in Tibetan culture for its protective properties, separate the Bodhi Seeds.
