PAIR IT WITH

  • A special request from a customer years ago led us to create our Rudraksha & Skull Impermanence Mala that is now a DharmaShop classic! We asked the mala makers in Nepal to create a matching wrist mala to accompany the heritage item.
  • Handmade in Kathmandu with 100% sustainable and natural Rudraksha Seed beads and skull accent beads carved from Water Buffalo bone.
  • The skull is a symbol of impermanence in Buddhism. This bracelet serves as a powerful reminder to be here now and to live in the present moment; because nothing is permanent, everything is possible.

Rudraksha beads are known for their healing properties and protective powers. By meditating with or carrying a Rudraksha mala, it is believed to increase the ability to concentrate, giving clarity and peace of mind.

A note about bone beads: In the Himalayas, it is typical for large animals such as yak or water buffalo to be used for service, food, clothing, and ritual items. Given the limited amount of resources and the religious practices of the people in the region, it is important that none of the animal goes to waste. These amazing bone skull beads are handcrafted by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in daily life and spiritual practice.

Pair it with the matching Bodhi & Skull Impermanence Mala or Rudraksha & Skull Impermanence Mala!

Size:

Small measures approximately 6.5-6.75" around. Large measures approximately 7-7.25" around.
