This beautiful traditional style wrist mala is very unique. Featuring bone beads with inlaid brass, turquoise, and coral with a vintage Tibetan focal bead.
Tibetan nomadic life is hard, and in the cold there is little to eat. Water buffalo is a main staple in Nepal and Tibet and when an animal is used for food, nothing is wasted. These amazing beads are hand inlaid by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in daily life and spiritual practice.
Strung on adjustable black cord, this wrist mala measures approximately 6 1/2 inches when closed and 9 inches when fully open. Includes 11mm and 12mm inlaid bone beads, two 8mm wood toggle beads, and one 12mm inlaid Tibetan focal bead. Handmade in Nepal.
